Cancer Support Groups

Community Healing for Cancer Patients, Survivors, and Caregivers

Meetings offer a safe space for people affected by cancer to share their experiences and discuss with others in similar situations. Support groups can provide the comradery, problem-solving and hope for cancer patients, survivors and caregivers.

Yellow Brick Place offers the following support groups:

  • Multiple Myeloma Support Group, facilitated by Matt Giambattista with support from Rhonda Wilhelm
  • Prostate Support Group, facilitated by Steve Burbrink
  • Caregiver Support Group, facilitated by Joyce Aleshire

Check out our Events Calendar for a schedule of meetings. If you are interested in attending a support group or would like to volunteer to facilitate one, please let us know.

There will be a general support group and an additional writing support group. Both offer gift cards for participating. This program is for those beyond one year in remission and will start in May.
